So ran intel XTU today and ran the benchmark built in and scored the highest score I ever had on it. Is it because of the new operating system? nothing is changed. if anyone wants to use my profile ill try and upload it here. I may have to change the type of file to upload it so download it and change the type back to .xtu and load it into your intel XTU profiles. give it a shot , I scored 923! not bad for running it at 40x 39x39x39.
obviously hopefully you have the same hardware as me, i74930mx, alienware 18, ect.
ok it won't let me upload the profile. but ehre is the exact link to download it. just download it to your desktop and then import it to your XTU and see how it works for you.

@jtravapd8578 says; Before this i used windows 7. however under windows 10 i tried over and over to get a good score and no matter what i did I scored in the 800's range. so finally i gave up on hte 43x 4 cores ect and went low and it gave me a higher score. That link will download my profile, save it to your desktop and import it to XTU. you coudl prob just double click and it will automatically fire up XTU
jtravapd8578 Low core voltage means a lot in Xtu bench. Higher Overclock the higher core voltage you need. This influence on Xtu scores.
Higher memory speeds mean also higher scores in Xtu bench (a little jump up from 1600 to 1867 memory speed means 60-80 points higher scores in Xtu bench. The same applies also if you use/try different os versions.Last edited: Jun 15, 2015jtravapd8578 likes this. -

The first BIOS screenshot is old, set the core limits to 41 on all
long duration power limit = 150
short duration pwer limit = 150
New Frequency in 10 KHz increments = 10029

Edit. @Matrix Leader6 use and read http://hwbot.org/submit/benchmark/xtu/
@jtravapd8578 @Matrix Leader6 Why not just go all the way over to Trottlestop... Stopped completely to use Xtu. Have Xtu disabled.Last edited: Jun 15, 2015 -

i have no problem saving my profiles. however you can't upload them to this site.
i was having the same problem, with this site, the way around it is when you have your XTU set up the way you like, run the benchmark utility in XTU (not the stress test). when you get yourt results click the score and it will take you to their website , login ect, and click analyze and it will put all your scores , ect, compare it to other computers with your parts ect. on that page their will be several "downolad" buttons. dont download it just copy the url link for it and post htat. it will take me to your page and i can download any profiles from there -
i would love to just use throttle stop but i dont i know how to use it yet, and the old posts show how to set up older versions of it. Papusan i did notice the 32 and 33 in the bios, however that is greyed out so i couldn't change it even if i anted it lol. -
well that backfired, i used martix's settings and my compuer crashed at boot. now i can't remember what my bios settings were that went along with my workinng XTU profile. there are 4 core settings, two time window settings, long and short, a setting to enable or disable core limits, and a short duration power limit, not to mention bus clock frequesncy in 10khz incriments. if anyone has seen my profile link i posted and can let me knwo what to set my bios back to that would be great.
