right been having problems with my m18x, it crashed after farcry 3 then kept blue screening. after trying to get windows to fix it i managed to get windows to recover, (believe the crash was linked to ati 13.5) anyway when i start up i get the hdd sreen shows one ssd in red? any way to get rid of it? i am planing to fit bigger ssd in the summer (only have 2 60gb.... last owner fitted them) so i can wipe them and wipe raid setting.

    will post specs if wanted.

You are running a Raid 1 mirror I take it? If so I had an issue with one of my drives dropping off one day after an AMD induced blue screen event, If memory serves me correctly I had to go into the storage matrix software and force it back online and after that it worked ok, either that in the option rom in the bios where you hit Ctrl I to get into the array setup.

Raid rebuild and verification errors have been pretty common place for me when I used AMD cards due to BSOD from their excellent drivers, never had any real errors and except for the one time where what you mentioned happened it always resolved itself. I would try and force the drive back online in the storage matrix, I think you click on the one that is bad and go under advanced, this is just from memory but I hope it helps you.

Got to love AMD, they need to resolve their rectal cranial inversion disorder and then fix their drivers their hardware is awesome but stuff like this resulting from their sloppy code sure isn't.

its most likely not your SSD's, and I had this error in my last 2 of 3 total M18X R2's and all it was at the end it was just a batch of bad HDD ribbon cable to the motherboard. Reinstall as single SSD setup per port, and dont use RAID1 or RAOD0 and problems should be gone.
