    Hello to all.
I apologize for my english but only here, in this language, maybe you can solve my problem.

I have recently upgraded my system with two 780m, before I had two 560m. For my mistake I bought only the 100 watts heatsink for the right vga.
From the beginning, I noticed that the GPU (left) was in TT when it reached 91 degrees and this is normal.

Waiting to buy (coming very soon) left heatsink (now I have 75w) I put the modded vbios at both of them and with my big surprise gpus don't drop frequency on 92 degrees but cpu do!!

When I perform a benchmark, CPU drops multiplier to 8x and performance are ridiculous. Same in games.
I also tried to disable C states but it does not care. It stay @3190 for all time but not when GPU began to work hard or, I don't know, when the fans run at maximum(?) it drops @780mhz. I say "when the fans run at maximum" because the cpu back at full power (@3190mhz) when the fans stop going at full power! This made me think that there was not enough power and that the power would taked by the fans.

I add that another strange behavior that I noticed is that, for example, sometimes when I want to open a program (.exe), CPU stay (before turning off the c-states) at 780mhz and so the program takes several seconds to boot.

    Some useful information:

    Alienware m18x R1 bios a05 Modded
    Cpu
: 2760qm Max full load temp are less than 65 degrees
Ram: 6GB value ('i'll change they but now i have a "little bit" more important problem -.-' )
VGA: 2x 780m vmod bios 4GB Ram eurocom (last driver eurocom)
    PS: 330watt dell
    OS: Windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

If you need additional information, I am at your complete disposal.

Thank you all and I hope to solve. The cost of the upgrade was really high and it would be a tragedy not solve :(

If I'm reading this right your using 75watt heatsinks and or the gpu's are hitting 90's. That is way to hot. Need to get the temps down before you solve throttle issues.

    Yes i know!
First of all, thanks for reply.
I know that i must to solve temp problem and yes, i have 100w heatsink to the right and 75 to the left.
But why cpu go in TT if its temp is perfect.
At full load it stay under 60 degrees.

    Thanks
