    Too bad the laptop is limited to 330 PSU

    I have the same copper tube sitting in my garage lol

    Maybe you can help me with some ideas for a M18X R2. I have everything needed to watercooled the laptop.

    after i flush the unlocked a12 bios, i oc my cpu , then my m18 cant reboot . i try by the mean of hotswap ram , but i got four beep when i stick the ram . what can i do ?

    Excellent mod and what I like about it (besides the wicked drop in temps) is that it remains portable (relatively speaking. The AW18 is pretty massive) with normal hotwell temps pre-mod, but once stationary hook up 6 connectors and blamo, enhanced cooling.

    If/when you get it back up and running, I'd love to see some benchmarks and load temps. Like already mentioned, use XTU or throttlestop and see what you can push the CPU to stable.

    I'd be interested in just a CPU modded cooler water ready personally. I run mid to low GPUs in my AW18's so extreme cooling isn't required.

    Again, excellent.

    You're right. If I need to take my laptop out, I can pull out the pipe and screw on the plug. It's the same as a normal laptop.
    I'm trying to fix my laptop, and if it reboot successfully, I'd be happy to share his benchmarks and load temps with you. [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Brother, I'm Chinese and I live in China. I can use Taobao to buy anything like your ebay. Sorry, so I may not be able to offer practical advice.
    You need to weld the nut to the copper pipe before using the plug. This may be a complete set of services. It's more complicated. You can also choose rubber plug cap instead of welding the nut.

    You should try to get a 4930MX, they usually clock higher unless you get 4940MX QS
    Also, isn's this the R3 and not R4?

    Got an ES, that thing OC's extremely well. 1.040 volts for 4ghz flat as well.
