    Alienware 18 (2013)
i7 4930MX has run with no issues @4.1ghz using auto settings from the bios. lol was lucky with the chip lottery i guess. I do run hwinfo for fan control.
    32 gigs of ram
2 Nvidia 780M's in SLI with custom firmware
512 samsung msata and 512 samsung SSD in Raid 0
780 GB Western Digital 7200rpm data drive
    Bluray burner
the rest is all just the extras 18 inch true life screen
webcam built in, hdmi in and out, display port
micro sd card reader, wifi, gigabit internet
also would be including my awesome backpack that to be honest not only holds this 18inch beast , its power brick, but also holds 4 xbox game pad controllers, my ipad, a couple plastic racks of blank blurays, hdmi wires, a external hard drive reader(totally worth buying if you dont have one, allows you to hook up a internal hard drive through one of its connections into your usb port to read and work off the drive. and its built tough, hasn't ripped or anything and any of you who put this thing on their back knows you feel like your a ghostbuster.

obviously i knew when i spent 5 grand and a little change i was wasting money, but its been worth it for the most part.

Do you think asking $1800 but going down to $1500 is asking way too much money?

i can't get a good idea on just what the parts could be worth. the samsung 512gb msata and samsung 512 SSD drive probably are worth a few bucks. I have a friend with a i74940MX and i swear to you my 4930MX destroys his. i know different chips etc. but the did something that causes his chip to run hotter then mine. i can't sell it for parts when it works normally because ill never get any decent money for it. I just want enough money to get me a nice gaming set up where i can easily max out everything at 1080 or 1400p. i know you'll all laugh at me but i have my xbox one x hooked up to my samsung un55ks9000 and its literally jaw dropping.

If anyone has any ideas it would be great. maybe im just dreaming. its just now recently on some games I can't max out everything because my 780's just dont support some features. When a game supports them in SLI i gotta say teh 780M was one of Nvidias kick ass mobile cards. i know the 880 doubled the vram but you guys had your issues in the begining. I wish i could just find a small 14 or 15inch laptop with a 1080 video card. that would be more then powerful enoughfor me. i have a court case comign up in march I can't lose what i already have won , so thats cool. but if i win , i will be getting almost 11 grand a month for the rest of my life!.. so **** yeah, i willbe here and with the help of you guys we will be ordering rediculous machines. lol.

I see lots of Alienware 18s for 1300 CAD... Got my Alienware 18 for 1400 ish with a 4710MQ and 16GB Ram 980M SLI though... Sadly with no 10 series support the price has dropped alot on older laptops like the AW18, MSI GT80, and GT72... Maybe next Gen we will get lucky but I doubt it I have a feeling all new cards will be eDP only...

Always better to sell one SSD out of 2 and one GPU out of 2. Then try selling laptop. International buyers pay more than domestic.
