Well Dell might still have a couple I suppose but they would be expensive, well known members on here in the members market or ebay sellers with lots of feedback are your best bet most likely.

You can get them from PowerNotebooks for a good price. Meaker cannot point you there because he represents them, but I do not and I certainly can drop their name as an option for you. :D Great company, good reputation and reasonable prices.

That would be up to you. Personally, I won't touch the MSI Titan with a 10-foot pole.
    - Soldered CPU = no bueno
    - Scary cooling system... also no bueno from what I can see.

I recommend upgrading your R1. I've just ordered two 880M to my M18xR1. With i7-2920XM cpu it's going to be overkill for all games in next 4 years.

I would rather be able to get a decent CPU that can't be upgraded further and then the GPU guaranteed by the company to work with the next 2 generations at least.

As I already have a processor 2960xm the best :)

For the graphics card, my idea was to buy 2 gtx 880m gtx.

Then I read in the forum that M18x r1 cards 780m gtx have a better yield.

Give me advice gtx 880m or 780m gtx?

    GTX 780M

If you can't find GTX 780M in your country in normal price like me then you have to buy 880M and I recommend downclocking it to 780M to avoid heating issues like I had to. Im still waiting for my two 880M but 780M is better choice if you can buy them.

You have to know that 880M is same chip as 780M but with 8GB useless VRAM and heating issues because nvidia set stock clock too high.

EDIT:: You can read about my dilemma here - http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...ng-forward-to-buy-880m-780m-in-m18xr1.770145/

A little bit overpriced for me. You can find new 780M on ebay for about 530$. I've bought two new 880M for 630$ but that was one-time deal in Poland. Nearly noone have the Alienware here so the seller had to lower price to finally sell them hehe :)

If you are from switzerland and you want to pay less you can browse polish "ebay" using translator because prices here are often much lower. Also you are near me so shipping will be cheap. Address is http://www.allegro.pl. But AFAIK switzerland is very rich country.
