    Hey,

    After ending Metro 2033, AC Unity and The crew I've decided to return to the Warthunder but there's a weird behaviour there. Im always getting about 40-50fps, never 60 even without vsync. GPU is not at 100% usage same as CPU, temperatures are fine. Im sure you will still assume some kind of gpu throttling that's why Im attaching this image:

    gpu.png

    Im also attaching zip file with HwINFO64 log and log viewer together. AC is of course 330W, AC cable is 10A 250V capable. It looks really odd like AC degrading? Is there an easy way to check which component is throttling and why? I've experienced it also in The Crew.Can some expert look into it? I would be grateful because i really like this game.

    EDIT::
    No weird throttling with SLI disabled. Drivers? AC?

    All power limits on GPU are 0. Power limit 0.

    Regards

    Maybe @Mr. Fox will know what's going on?

    Looking at the CSV file, your CPU, GPU core and memory clocks look completely stable. Temps are fine. The clock speeds and voltage on CPU and GPUs are not high enough to be having AC adapter depletion problems. If you were overclocking and overvolting, that might cause throttling, but the most common symptom is the machine shutting off and/or the AC adapter's internal circuit breaker tripping. You can confirm this if you have a Kill-A-Watt meter or UPS with a power meter, but you should have no reason for concern in that regard. Unless your AC adapter has become worn out and weak, you should be able to overvolt to about 1.050V and overclock to around 1050/1500 before 330W is not enough power.

    Since Metro and AC are working right, if I understood that correctly, I am more inclined to think your GPU behavior relates to Warthunder. Have you tried testing with the game profile in NVCP set to Alternate Frame Rendering 1 or 2 instead of NVIDIA Recommended? Sometimes manually setting AFR1 or AFR2 will cure major issues. If neither setting works and other games work fine, I think it is safe to blame it on Warthunder. If you look at the CSV file, it looks like the problem is Core Load, which indicates a driver optimization issue or a poorly coded game is causing bad performance. Your Core Load is all over the place, erratic and too low. Setting AFR1 or AFR2 may improve that. Try both to find out which is best, if either one helps.

    As a side note, what you are experiencing with Warthunder was normal behavior for a long time with 880M. Observations from feedback from you and other 880M owners, things are much better than they used to be. It seems like most of the weird and unexplainable throttling behavior that caused 880M owners a lot of grief has been mostly rectified as drivers have matured. That would further suggest an issue unique to Warthunder.

    Hey fox, glad to see you :)

    Huh thanks for that advice. I was thinking that something may be wrong with AC. It's probably WT bug introduced not long ago.
