    Vsync or not?

    Hi guys, encountered some problems here. Without using vsync, I would have like 8x-11x fps on dota 2 and it's making the gameplay a little choppy. With vsync I'm getting like 5x-60 fps but no longer having choppy gameplays but occasionally some stutter will appears. A lot of peoples are saying vsync is not good but why does it benefits me much more than without vsync? Since I'm using SLI, should I use smooth vsync? Need some advice here.
