I'm return my vindicator. Heres why. although it looks cool, it is far less quality then the orion. The pockets inside are made of a cheap type of mesh with alot of flex. The padding on the back has started to deform on me after 1 week of use ( permanent dimples in it) and the outside back where the alien head is coating is so thin that in a few spots its behinnging to flake off and show white under neather. Also, it isnt check point friendly like the other, and over all feels sort of cheap. The pockets are also messy, none seem to have a real purpose for anything. Just thought the community should know

Yeah the Orion is definitely a step up in quality.

Wow, thanks for posting this. I would normally merge this with the M18x backpack thread, but it needs to stay by itself. That's very unfortunate. I was thinking of buying one because it has a slightly nicer look than my Orion. Bummer... :( But, my Orion backpack is awesome and I love it. Please post photos of the issues you are seeing. This thread will most likely be seen by the Alienware people that need to see it, so photos will potentially be very helpful.

Disappointing to hear this, I was really looking forward to the new design and what seemed to be better quality. Now I'm debating if I should cancel since Dell decided to delay my order for another month. Please post some pics, would really want to get a better idea of the issues.

I had my girl send it off last night. I'll tell her to take pictures and send them to me if it isn't on a ups truck and post them this afternoon.

Same here. Mine still shows "In production" and delivery has been delayed to the end of the month. If it really is of worse quality than the Orion then I might as well cancel the order and get an Orion off Amazon. Some pics of the damage would be helpful in making the decision.

She sent me this album. Two pics show the flimsy pockets/pouches with no real purpose built for them, the second two towards the center of the picture you can see the black tile coating beginning to flake off ( its happening in 3 places be she only took a picture of the one) and the last two show the permanent dimples in the back padding . After only 3 days of use!!

Well I think that I will order a Orion one in that case, I know that the Orion design is strong since I owned one. Thanks for the share!

Wow, the wear and those Blisters look bad. Looks as if there is cardboard under the back or something and it got wet (from sweat?) and then blistered. Thanks for the warning. I was going to order one of those as a backup for my Orion (which I'm perfectly happy with), but now I'll try to find another Orion instead.

Looks like it was damaged in shipping. If you can PM me your order number, I can have that backpack replaced.

Thanks Luis, but I sent it back already so I don't think they can replace it once I sent it back. It came to me perfect, and after 3 days of delicate us (I initially liked it and babied it) that's what happened to it. Crazy huh?
