    Hello everyone.

The touchpad on my alienware 18 is showing signs of wear and tear to the point where the protective coating is starting to disappear. If i wanted to fix this could i get a replacement touchpad or would I have to replace the whole front panel. Would this be fixable under warranty?

If you have warranty call them. They might, wouldn't hurt to ask. Otherwise yes you have to buy a new one.

You can't buy the touchpad on its own, you'd need to get a new top panel assembly.
