Hi all hope somebody can help me solve an issue I’ve been facing. Yesterday I took my laptop apart and repasted the GPU and changed the keyboard as some keys on the previous one wasn’t working. Run heaven benchmark and the GPU temp doesn’t exceed 75c. Went onto battlefield 5 and I’m getting loss of sound for a sec here and there. It happens every 5-10 secs. Once in game I’m facing stutter, it’s so bad I’m not even able to play. Reinstalled nvidia drivers and changed settings in nvidia control panel to maximum performance an so forth. I get the amber low FPS icon on screen every now and then. I also tried a few other games and the same outcome. Could it be a loose connection or is it something else?

What computer you using? are you using SLI? Have you tried reinstalling the game? What media are you using (HDD, SSD, DISC)?

I’ve figured it out. It was across all games, even watching videos or listening to music. I went into add/remove programs and deleted the nvidia hd audio driver and problems gone. For some reason it was causing really bad stutter.
