Have a weird problem i am assuming now my 7970m are dying but just wanted to confirm , it boots into windows and then after 5 mins doing nothing in windows the screen starts messing up , and if you move the mouse around it sort of cleans of the pixelation and underneath you see the normal screen , and then after a few more mins its gets worse to the point that the sceen is a mess and then completely pixelates and is a mass of small coloured pixels , i then restart but nothing no screen or beeps , leave it again for a bit and then it will start normally but then the cycle starts again , just want to know if anyone had a similar problem , poss cure are the cards on there death bed , maybe the vram is failing i dont know , any ideas please getting desperate , and will never buy an Amd product ever again ..thanks in advance

One last thing ...obviously i am using the 100watt amd heat sinks percific to the 7970m , i have maybe a chance to pick up a couple of 780m but he has no heatsinks , i know its probably no recommended but is there anyway way i can use those heatsinks with the 780m as i have no way of getting the correct h/s where i am , if someone has a detailed guide for pad placement , thickness of pad and any modifcation i need to do would really be gratefully appreciated , as i really need it working one way or the other ....thanks ..

just one question, is there only one 7970m or two in crossfire? 7970m's in Crossfire always auto destruct.
