I purchased my laptop a few years ago, and was wondering if it's worth it to put a SSD in it ? I have never had a SSD, but heard it really improves performance.

Biggest one you can afford. I am running a 500GB Samsung and its fantastic. Its not the Pro version either. Really speeds up the computer. Bot times are measured in seconds. THe splash screens fly by and poof your on the desktop. I was on the phone with my ISP tech support one time and he was shocked how fast it rebooted. I think normally they go for coffee break when the ask a customer to reboot. He didnt have time to scratch his nuts and I was ready.

Thanks for your reply. How do I know what SSD is compatible with this laptop ? Sorry if that's a dumb question...know nothing about this.

Just insert the ssd and connect it with the (sata)-connector which is already connected to your hdd.

is it possible or useful to run 960 evo or 960 pro? online says it need NVMe which is not a BIOS option. would it work with two in RAID?
