I have no screen output or hdmi output although i can hear the windows song booting up.. the back light is on, just no video output at all.

I guess its one of the 780's playing up..
Does any know if I can force boot to integrated graphics?

maybe its telling me its time for an upgrade..

sory to hear that....well it seems that one of your GPU is going to die or almost died...could be the primary one..but who knows.. you can try removing both of them and trying to boot with one card only testing both of them one by one... and if you are having 60 Hz screen then u can post and boot to windows with both gpus removed without any issues untill unless if you havent disabled the iGpu in bios..BEST OF LUCK !!

Open the laptop remove GPUs and reset bios (NVRAM Method or remove battery and CMOS battery and hold power (not plugged in) and that should boot into IGFX mode)

Simply pulling out the GPUs will force iGFX.

Can indeed confirm, my AW18 will boot up on iGFX without any GPUs.

I have removed both 780’s for now, and as suggested it does now run on Intel :)

By the way, as far as video cards go, the 860M can still handle a fair bit and you can snag one from eBay for around $100-150, that is if you don’t want to snag a 980m or 1060/1070.
