    M18x R2 videocard

    hey guys, I have attached a picture to this post.
    As you can see I have put the secondary card into slot 1 which is next to the vga port.
    I have also removed the crossfire cable.
    Shouldn't the system now recognize this card ?
    Do I have to change something in the bios settings ?

    Now it's just beeping a couple of times and the display stays black. Did I break any hung ? :(

    8 beeps are 90% of cases:
    - Not connected or bad connected display
    - Bad connection in MXM slot, try to reseat
    - Dead GPU

    You should always have BIOS set to PEG if you want to test gpu.

    I think those were 7 beeps. It seems like the motherboard gave up on me. What a let down that this thing totally died on me after just 3 years. Not getting another Alienware.

    AFAIK 7 beeps was bad CPU/bad cpu connection.

    Buy new Clevo with pascal now. They're worth it.
