M18x AlienFX Theme Sharing...

You cannot make it go dark if you have other areas turned on. It doesnt appear to be an option.

Thought I would bump this back to the top of the forum.

Has anyone created any custom lighting themes for the M18x with the latest ver of Command Center they would be prepared to share with the rest of us?

The thread already running on this subject seems to only have themes created with an older version of Command Center so don't work on the machines with the current release.

Would be nice to see what people have created

Well that was to be expected I guess.

A moderator comes along and moves my post to this thread which is exactly where it is not supposed to be.

If my previous post had been read correctly this thread only has themes created using older versions of command center. I was trying to get some interest in a new thread for themes created using the latest release of command center. The themes created on older versions don't work with the latest version.

Now because my post has been stuck back here no one will see it.

I know moderators have a job to do but please read the posts before you move them.

This is exactly the place where themes can be shared and a new Command Center version it's not a reason for having another parallel thread going on.

If you have doubts in the future, PM a moderator first instead of making assumptions.

 

So where are all the cool themes?

 

I haven't actually seen any. There seems to be a low level of interest in theme sharing among M18x owners.

 

I've been playing around with FX lately, but haven't been able to come up with anything worth sharing. I made a pretty Meh "canada" theme, but the 4 big keyboard zones kind of kills it.

 

The lighting effects are cool and this feature is most definitely something I love about the M18x, but it takes a special taste for elaborate themes, color morphing, etc. Personally, I do not get too excited about multi-colored themes and flashing lights on the M18x. I am more into the single color lighting and generally choose one color that compliments my Windows desktop theme.

 

This is the one I use currently let me know if you want it. Matches the wallpaper

Brother MB... where's the blue light underneath your M18x coming from? My M18x doesn't have any lighting effect down there, LOL.

If it were not against forum rules, I would gladly go on a rant. Since we cannot go there, I can only indicate that I share your displeasure about being blacklisted.

I had a hunch, but the image was too dark to see what it was. If I had a need for one, I think that is the cooler that I would buy.

 

I've noticed I can not download files lately from a ton of foreign file storage websites.
I personally loved megaupload. I have a CF-19. It's awesome but not necessary IMO.

Yes brother Sky is right, it is in fact from the coolermaster SF-19, it just perfectly mimics the exact same shade of the blue on the m18x, many people actually thought it was coming from the laptop

It is a great cooler.
