M18X-R2 + 980M Driver install failed

Well I had to do a fresh install of Windows 7 but when i try to install the 980M driver i get this :

"The NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of windows."
"This graphics driver ould not find compatible graphics hardware."

So since Nvidia added support people have just been saying you can just download and install drivers without issues anymore...seams I am having an issue.

I am running the A11 unlocked BIOS / GPU in PEG mode
980M has prima vbios

So any ideas what I am doing wrong if anything, I can't find the origonal post I used to use to install 980M drivers so any help would be apreaciated since my only other option is to use an old moddified 391.35 Driver.

Ok well i don't know how or why but thought i would run a small program called Driver booster 6 to see what drives i have out of date.
Besides the normal stuff it did find and install a Game Ready Driver for the 980M 419.35 WHQL according to the driver number. Not sure if this is meant to reaplace normal drivers I have no idea.
