My Radeon 6990m has died, so i have ordered an GTX 880M and an Primary NV100 heatsink and are planning to install it with a single card. I upgraded my M17X R3 with GTX 780M earlier this year, and was wondering if its the same installation procedure? Shall i Disable Integrated graphic and High Definition Audio when i install i the M18X R1 like i did on my M17X R3?

Just flash it with A05 unlocked and you're good to go. No need to enable intel graphics, just plug and play and modded Nvidia drivers.

BTW, should i just use the same thermal pad layout as on my GTX 780 M, with Fujipoly 0,5 mm 14MKW on all relevant places?
