    Hi all just a slight problem I’ve run into after a GPU upgrade. I’ve recently upgraded from 980m sli to a single gtx 1070 in my Alienware 18, installed modded drivers and tried to run heaven benchmark to check if the FPS and temps all good and this is what I’m getting;

    My specs are as follows:

    I7 4940MX
    16GB Hyper x ram

    What could be the problem?
    All feedback appreciated.

    Just like to say a big Thankyou to you Danish. I was sat feeding my 7 week old son a bottle while this legend worked his magic via team viewer. Went from 9 FPS to over 200 . + 1,000,000 rep

    You notice much difference going from 980M SLI to a 1070? Asking for a friend....

    Not done much testing to be honest as of yet, but from the little gaming I have done it feels way smoother. Draws less power so less heat and potential to overclock GPU and cpu without worrying too much.

    Nice..you use any sort of guide or anything to do the install? Also, did you purchase it on ebay (what was your search)?

    Not really it was like any other install. Basically plug and play. I ordered it from eBay. Here’s some pictures.

    I had a read through this before deciding to buy the 1070 but I didn’t use this guide. A good friend on here told me just to go into bios and set to SG mode before removing old cards and installing new one. Then once installed just use modded drivers. Which I got help with from Danishblunt. (Say help, he did everything from the inf files to even remotely accessing my computer and getting it all setup.) A legend.
