    Is it possible to connect an external gpu to AW18 DMC slot?

    looking at the mother board of the AW 18 i found an empty DMC slot there. is it possible to connect the Alienware Graphic Amplifier to this slot?

    Not the amplifier but you can get a riser and PSU to do it.

    as i researched about external Graphic adapters they are mostly connected to laptop with a Pci-e and one usb cable. i think that alienware amplifier is using the same setup but they make these two cables as one and use a custom input for it on the laptop. i think if someone mange to get how the cable on amplifier works we can connect it to all laptops with pci-e port on them.
