my laptop came this morning and i have to problems, or one real problem and one gripe.

Im being told that my charger is "plugged in, charging" but its not charging. I'm not really sure how to fix it iv looked around but i cant find a solution, most people seem to just want me to take the battery out for a while. I think the power adapter model for the laptop is DP/N 0XM3C3, which is the model i have, but i bought it from a 3rd party company so i would feel more comfortable if if you could tell me if this is right.

The other problem/ gripe is that the media controls and macro keys don't light up, iv tried reinstalling the command center but that had no effect.

These problems aside its a lovely piece of tech.

Thanks for your help in advance

That is the same charger (same part #) that I have for my M18, so I would suggest that the part is right. If you haven't disconnected the battery and did the power switch thingy, I would suggest that you want to give it a try. I had an issue with my M18 powering up....kind of acted like the battery was dead....AW tech suggested to disconnect the AC, disconnect the battery, hold the power switch on for 30 seconds, and then reassemble.

Worked for me....your mileage may vary. Not sure if it will help raise the resale value of your house.. :D

    Good luck

Where did you buy it? You just did?
If you try to run the computer on battery only... Does it work?
