    Hi to all,
Can anybody explane me how to turn off keyboard and other lights on my M18x ? The only thing that I'm able to turn off is the sign ALIENWARE under the display. All the other settings (keyboard zones, touchpad and other lights) allows me to decide the color but on the wheel don't allows black option (light off).
    Thanks

Look at the taskbar icons near the clock and you will see a small alienware head icon. Right click and you will see various options. To turn all lighting off, left click "go dark" and "go light" to change back....you can also dim the lighting from that menu also....make sure that "keep status zones on during go dark" doesnt have a tick next to it for total blackout !

You can go into the alienFX program and just select the areas as black, as well as the macro i think.

Is there a way to disable the keyboard input? Usually my daughter is touching my Alienware :)
