Ya the 667*2 := 1333Mhz, if it's 1600 there's a spot in performance options to set ram speed IIRC (you can also adjust the XMP profile I just left that at default on mine). Adjust that to 1600 and you should be getting a 800Mhz reading in CPU-z which is 1600Mhz.

There's a setting in the bios under performance options, can't remember exactly where off the top of my head.

Edit: you may have to go into the memory config, wish I could find a screen shot then I could tell you for sure. I know I found it roughly on the same screen/area where the BLCK is.

Okay, click the Attachment below & see the spec for urself:
    XMP profiles #1 with 7-7-7-20
    XMP profiles #2 with 9-9-9-27

inside your bios you should see performance option like flashpoint mentioned.
from there > go to memory option and UNLOCK it (memory override support > enable, memory frequency > 1600, Dimm profiles (xmp) > 1)
Choose 1600 from the drop down menu, and use XMP profiles 1 instead of custom Cas latency.

does anyone have a list of good timings for 1866mhz Kingston Impact ram? just got it today but having trouble getting it to move from it's default clocks...setting it to 2133 in BIOS doesn't seem to change anything in CPU-Z

perhaps mr. fox could chime in?

EDIT: can't seem to find the right SPD profiles in Thaiphoon Burner for that stick..its Kingston Impact 8gb 1866mhz sticks
