I ordered on the 4th; I have been looking everyday and it has been in Production since the 5th. I live in California; Does anyone know where these are built? I have heard of a few people getting their systems early.

Also can someone share a list of the top 5 games to buy and load on my new machine.

Also I have a extra hard drive from my M17xr3. Can i just add it to the open bay on the new m18x before i turn it on? I will add it has windows 7 loaded on it as well. Please provide instuctions....

    xoxoxoxox
    Thanks
    MAI

About games: Depends on what genre of games you would be willing to try

First person shooters or Role playing games, strategy, online universe type games etc.

I like first person shooters. Last 2 games I played was Mass Effect 2 and Resident Evil 5.
So far i am thinking Metro 2033- does it have variety?
    Crysis 2

I also like games that are graphically awesome- thoughts?

Also can BF3 be played in single mode? No online etc?

Metro 2033 is a great moving game with a strong plot and variety in game play styles.

Crysis 2 is a joke if you ask me, just an Nvidia conspiracy job.

BF3 will have a 12hr single player campaign mode and online play as well. BF3 is shaping upto be a good release.

Funny. I like games that have different types of enemies, and Smart AI.
    With good visuals.

    Any others besides 2033?

You have Mass Effect series 1 & 2 so thats covered.

    'Dead Space' series is great
'Assassin's Creed' Series is awesome. You have 3 separate games in that franchise.
    'Far cry 2'

These are some of the great games that come to mind.

Must be! It's not like the game is the best looking one or the gameplay/story is quite amusing.

Start from Crysis 1. It's an excellent game. Then you can move on to C2. I'd recommend that. I believe that to appreciate the newest games one needs to know something about history of gamin, talking 'classic' titles.

If your like shooting things, check these out:

Rage (it just came out, excellent game, made by people who made Quake)
Borderlands (it's just... something else there)
STALKER series (same people who made Metro worked on Stalkers)
Bulletstorm (Epic studios, they made Unreal series, the game is less demanding intellectually, yet it's fun)

You can also check older titles:
Half-Life 2 (prolly the best game story even written, it's an all time classic. *a must have*)
    FEAR 1 & 2 (FEAR 1 is classic too)
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2 (tactical, 1-shot-1-kill type)

If you want a game with much more to it than just shooting, check out:
Deus Ex Human Revolution (a shooter/rpg, prolly the best game of this year)
Fallout 3 and Fallout NV (1st person shooter/RPGs, based on Fallout series from '90s, Fallout New Vegas is much more falloutish than Fallout 3)

    and finally "pure" RPGs:
Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 (excellent RPGs, based on a series of books, kinda dark here and there)

    and the best RTS:
    StarCraft 2
    Company of Heroes
    Command & Conquer 3

In regards to games and what's popular at the moment, stop by NBR's Gaming and Graphics area... Most of the current titles are heavily discussed in that section - including Rage. You will find quite a bit of information.

Metro 2033 is on sale on Steam today for €2.50 (75% off)

Rage is looking pretty good so far, looks savage when cranked up to the max.

I thought Hunted: The Demon's Forge wasn't bad, just played through it in coop with a mate, good fun.

If you like FPS multiplayer I would get Black Ops or pre-order MW3, can't wait for it..... 8/11/11!
