    This is normal GTX 980 180W version. It won't fit probably.

    I think there are three versions.

    One of them is the 200w version which is quite a bit larger, then the 180w version which is slightly smaller (pictured in your eBay link), and then the 150w (or 130w) that's found in the GT80, which is a bit smaller yet. However, even the smallest unit is slightly bigger than the standard MXM 3.0B form factor.

    You need the power connector for that, it won't work on any previous alienware given the power requirement and cooling requirement.

    And for that money you can buy a new laptop with 1060 which is only slighty slower than a 980 desktop like that one
