Could i try to put my gtx 780m in my M18X would it work in SLI with an Gtx 880m???

And if the card is dead, would i still could see it in BIOS and CPU-Z, CPU-Z shows both GTX 880M but on the secondary card clock and core is greyed out.

    1. I don't know. Technically they share the same core but they don't share same memory and vBIOS. I bet it won't work
    2. It depends on the driver. You should swap the cards between slots and then run Dell Diagnostic at GPU (its in BIOS). If it will pass then run windows and check 3D games.

I have actually already run Dell Diagnostic and all passed with no errors. I'm in contact with the seller and are trying to find an solution, since both of the cards was Dell Refurbished and not used ones.

If GPUs work separately and don't work in SLI then look at SLI cable.

I will try to test em individually, does that meen i have to try with both cards one at a time in the left (Primary) MXM port?? And how much do i have to assemble the laptop before i test em?? The seller has agreed to replace the card if its defective.

Yes you have to test them both one at a time in primary slot. Just connect display and mainboard cables then you can run diagnostics and 3D games for test. If it's defective it should throw an error in diagnostics. If diagnostics will pass then just run windows for a second and run first 3D game.

I tried em both in the primary slot, and one of them didn't turn on the screen, so i will send it back to the seller.
