Hi I have installed bios A12 on my M18x R2 , I am having no problems as yet but this may sounds stupid but I installed by accident as I clicked on it assuming it was like the normal bios updates through windows but before I knew it was rebooting into Dos while I had my heart in my mouth thinking what the hell have I done , but thankfully it started and seems ok , but would like to know the procedure to downgrade if I need to A11 , can I just run ver A11 as normal through windows or do I have to use another procedure ? .
anyway as always thanks for any help and replies :)

Believe you have to Blind Flash back to A03 before you can go beck to A11. Don't quote me on it.

All you have to do is run the A11 update from within windows as provided by dell. My M18x had A12 on it, and I had to go to A10 to unlock the bios, so I downloaded the BIOS A10 from dell and just ran it, and everything was fine. You only need to blind flash if you need to go back to A03 or earlier, since that was before all the UEFI garbage was implemented.

Here is the link for the ram overclock that I did for the m18x, should be the same across the board even tho this was about corsair vengeance ram. Plus Mr. Fox posted in it the HyperX dumps for 2133. The required program is Thaiphoon Burner.
