Hi
I installed W7 on the A18 with UEFI and Legacy OPROM, it went well and there seems to be no issue now.
However, I noticed that I actually have RAID enabled. I don't need RAID. However, I cannot disable it since it will make my W7 not able to boot, W7 is installed on the M.2 SSD.
Also, how do I OC the 4700mq with the bios? Even a small speed bump would be good.
Currently I don't understand a single thing on the BIOS regarding performance.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Turns out my OS is installed on the SSD, and the NTFS file system on the Disk 0 (HDD) - how do I fix this?

Regarding OC, Never use the AW BIOS profiles, that's a strict NO, you might be needing NVRAM reset, Dell was on crack when they made those profiles...

Raid 0 is the default setting for former Aw models. Not an disadvantage.
Do not use bios for overclocking. Use Throttlestop instead. Ask @unclewebb for help in the Throttlestop guide if you need help. If something needs to be opened in bios settings, use Xtu for this before starting to use Throttlestop. But disable Xtu so this bloated garbage don't start up with Throttlestop. You really don't need XTU.
Run a clean Win installation. Remove all unnecessary disks under a new clean install of windows. A guide for you before you begin http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/nbr-windows-7-clean-installation-guide.781213/#post-10086237Ashtrix likes this. -
I personally use this though: http://www.overclock.net/t/1433882/...ios-optimization-guide-for-modern-pc-hardware
Ok, I'll not use the bios. I'll throttlestop, but I have no idea how to configure this for Haswell machines. Will take a look at the official throttlestop thread. -
I fixed the os issue
My 4700MQ is running at 3.4ghz, but I cannot bump it any higher. -75mv undervolt.
Disabling raid + 4700mq speed bump
