    I have a m18x r1 with the 6970s.
I replaced my hard drive and did a windows 7 install.
I go and update all my drivers and everything seems fine but whenever I try to update my 69xx drivers so my cards work when i restart after Starting Windows it just goes to a black screen and sits there...

Did you make sure to disable the Secure Boot in the UEFI bios??

Okay I reinstalled windows again and redownloaded drivers and one card had error symbol in device manager so I disabled the one card and now the other card works when i load windows.

Also: when i loaded windows up with the one card enabled and working i went back to device manager and re enabled that card and my screen went instantly black
