Speaking from firsthand experience, I've had the worst customer experience (multiple times) with Dell China, and a great experience with Dell UK. Quoting myself from the T|I forums:

I just wondered if there is anyone else out there, who's lived in countries outside of the USA and UK/Ireland, and who's had experience with Dell in other countries, who is willing to share what they thought of it.

I live in Dubai, UAE. I got my computer while I was home in Texas on vacation. Virgin Megastore sells the AW18 here, so I am sure there is some sort of mechanism in place for service. I hope I never have to find out...

Here in India 3 years ago, technician while replacing my M15x's GPU he scraped off the thermal paste using a screw driver  and applied the same... Adding to that they have the worst knowledge the technicians, customer care & especially the women, they are the worst !!!

Seems like the knowledge remains the same But there are some good people as well, they helped me out with my completely dead M15x, not a woman obv .
It's better to resolve minor issues by ourselves rather than to screw up our machine by those illiterates... :p

Scraped it off with a screw driver? haha thats insane.

There is probably technicians that are good in their field, but if something happens to my notebook I usually try to get parts etc sent to me instead of having the risk of some monkey coming to me that really doesnt care about my notebook as much as I do and just counts the hours until he is finally off work.
