    Hey everyone, my laptop just died, for the 5th time in 4 years lol. I have full accidental protection. From your experience, will they upgrade it at this point or will I still get the same ****ty 880m sli

    Let me guess, the 2nd GTX 880M in the slave slot died?

    Somehow far the most people using the AW18 kill their slave card at some point.

    Nearly certain they will offer you an Alienware 17 R4/R5, parts ran dry for the Alienware 18 years ago. I have owned M17x R1, M17x R2, M17x R3, M17x R4, M18x R1, M18x R2 ,and Alienware 18, and the Alienware 18 is by far, the worst built of the bunch. 2 780M failures and 3 motherboard failures. in 3 years. I scrapped the computer and sold its parts.
