This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Can't run SWTOR with M18x.

    So I just got my new m18x today :) Problem is : I can't even run SWTOR with more than 10 fps even with all low settings , shadow - bloom off etc...
    Here is my spec btw :

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2820QM CPU @ 2.30GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
    Memory: 8192MB RAM
    Graphic cards: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M x2 - 4063 MB

    Any suggestions ?

    I would recommend joining that discussion and asking for SWTOR advice in that thread.

    On quick piece of advice. If you are trying to run the game on battery and discrete graphics, that is not going to work out very well. You need to be connected to AC power and use the "High performance" power profile. If you really need to game on battery, you can try switching to integrated graphics and see how the Intel HD 3000 fares on battery with SWTOR, but don't expect great performance with the IGP, as it is designed to provided extended battery life more than good performance.
