I used those steps down below to uninstalled my 14.6 RC2 AMD driver for the AMD 14.4 driver on my AW18.
after the 14.4 was installed than i ran the 3Dmark 11 1280x720 again and the score drop down from 12267 to 7351!!
please check out the yellow highlight, not sure why the 3dmark shows i was using the 14.1 driver.

Instead of trying to manually do this cleanup, try using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) instead. It will do all of that for you and not miss any steps by accident. DDU works excellent for Intel, AMD and NVIDIA graphics. Use the "Clean and Shutdown" option in Safe Mode.

AMD has done some unusual things with drivers. It is possible the driver packaged with Catalyst 14.4 is the same graphics display driver as the 14.1 Catalyst package if they have not rolled out the 14.6 RC2 candidate yet. They sometimes update CCC and other software in a Catalyst revision without changing the actual display driver itself. If Catalyst 14.4 actually includes a newer display driver it will be installed after you use DDU because there will be no optional driver available for Windows to install by accident. If you end up with the same driver as 14.1 after using DDU and reinstalling 14.4 that will be an indication that a newer display driver is not available unless you use 14.6 RC2.

If your system crashed at any point, the BIOS may have been reset to disable overclocking and turbo boost. Go into the BIOS and see if that happened. I'm guessing that is why.

But, look at your physics score. It's almost the same. The problem with the benchmark result is the graphics score, not the physics (CPU) score. The graphics score is about half on the lower result.
