Does anyone know what this white ribbon cable (center of picture) is for that is next to the DVD drive? I broke the locking pin so I what to know what to look for if the connector comes loose. I have a piece of clear plastic wedged into the connector to create tension on the ribbon to make a tight fit. This is for an Alienware 18.

I thought that one was for power to MB. I also broke that one but had my MB replaced. I no longer touch it since it doesn't have to be disconnected to get to the cards. Next time you open pc just leave it disconnected and you will find out.
