So I installed precision... etc. Lovely M18x bit the dust.

Warranty expires next month, but I can't even get them to acknowledge that my alienware is broken... any tips?

What should I do now? Is there a usb I can boot from to fix this quickly? Or should I just scrap it?

    Thanks.

you can buy a new panel from ebay for around 200...though I don't understand how warranty won't cover a dead panel. Phone again or facebook their alienware support team. Better yet, email directly your problem to: [email protected]

    best of luck

All you have to tell them is that when it start up , it gives a certain number of beeps and there is no display. Let them hear the beeps when you are on the phone with them. That is enough proof for them to know that your screen is broken and laptop cannot boot.

I would also connect drive to another computer and wipe Precision X before you get new panel or it will end killed too.
