Had a major issue with my R2 this week , but hey well i have my old R1 to keep me going until tonight was watching a film on the R1 and then it just turns off no beeps no nothing , i thought weird , so tried to turn it on and its as dead as a dodo , even when i plug in the ps the green light goes , so looks like the motherboard has decided to commit sucide maybe it didnt like the film , took out the motherboard to look for any obvoius damage but nothing , so i need a board , now my question is i can not get any parts here ie shipped because here in the philippines import tax is beyond a joke , so has anyone have any idea how i can get parts here , i was hoping mr Fox would no if there are any dell reps here or someone in dell i could contact to try and arrange something , my warranty is finished so any help sorting out my bad luck would be a cool .....cheers

If the power brick goes off maybe it was the psu that cut off and now the battery is fully drained?

No unfortunately , I have two Power Bricks they both do the same , and the Batt was fine but did try the one from the R2 , no its definitely dead as a dodo , so just need to source some way of getting parts here because importing doubles the price , but thanks bro for your comment I really wish it was that simple ...
