I really don't want to start a new thread for this but, here goes.
Been getting some random BSOD's and I want to know if there is an EASY way to narrow it down to what is causing it. I am getting generic errors if that makes sense.
I have Googled and the SDK from MS would work. But it would seem there would be an easier way to anylize the .dmp file.
Any ideas???
The ones I have gotten lately are
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO
and
MEMORY_MANAGMENT
Both could suggest bad RAM I know and I am currently running Memtest to check that. Just looking for more options.....

Isn't that funny, I just recently got a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error recently. It should say down at the bottom as well as above that line what file the error originated from. In my case, as usual, it was related to the USB ports, in this case usbehci.sys.
I used BlueScreenView, which doesn't offer much, but does offer a little info. I think the MS SDK actually offers an analysis, but I couldn't get it to work quite right. I think it needed certain debugging symbol sets installed a certain way but somehow I dorked that up.
Haven't had many probs since respawning my system, but did get this exact error recently when shutting down. -
Gotta figure out what you last installed and maybe start the fix from that.

You can always run MemTest86, but I would blame a driver for that error. This is of course assuming that you haven't done any overclocking. Try running Driver Sweeper and installing CCC 11.8 modded by asder00

Always make a backup on any system when its fully working ok to save you a full reinstall next time
Good luck -

I am moving toward a graphics card/driver issue as I have had 2 complete freezes today. Once when running WMP and once when using a Rocketdock shortcut. Gonna do another driver sweep......will post back. -
Have a look at this program, it "may" be able to try and help identify the problem(s), I've used it before and it's helped me out and saved from a fresh install, could pinpoint the driver if it is a driver problem.

I have swept and installed the modded drivers that Nicholaus suggested. Will update if a BSOD occurs. So far, so good!
@Nicholaus-My Windows Exp. Index dropped to a 6.0 on graphics with the modded driver. Did you experience the same thing??? Not that I base a lot on the WEI, just asking. -

I have 580m SLI at the moment. Getting my old 6970's back in a few days because this throttling is stupid. I can't recall having a 6 WEI score ever. They normally were a 7.7 or 7.8 depending on my overclock

Yeah having random reboot issues as well for no apparent reason - in event viewer windows just says unexpected shutdown - have done all sorts of trouble shooting and only thing that comes to mind is possible loose connection either in the main-board or the battery - read something similar happening the the M17x as well.

So it seems as though I am not the only one here.
With the modded drivers, I woke up my computer this morning and have no Fn-F4/F5 control. Can't adjust the brightness in any way, even through the control panel. Might have to go back to 11.6 from AW.
BSOD Anylyzing??? Or causes of.
