    My old Alienware M18X R2

I get 7 beeps after flash bios

I search on for beeps code, i found

    Alienware Beep Codes Table
    Laptops
1 Possible Motherboard (covers BIOS corruption or ROM error)
    2 No RAM detected
    3 Possible Motherboard Chipset
    4 RAM failure (other)
    5 CMOS Battery
    6 Video card/chip
    7 CPU
    8 LCD

    It's mean cpu problem?

I tried blind flash (I found in another post)
I followed the steps, but only the fan turned fast. no beeb after that.

    Any solution for this cause?

Unless it's the wrong BIOS flashed, try to clear the CMOS settings. Unplug the battery and the power adapter, hold the power button pressed for like 30 seconds, then reinstall the battery and plug the power adapter.

Did you try blind flashing the stock bios?

You can also try removing the CMOS battery and jumping the pins on the motherboard with a screwdriver. Won't help a bad or wrong flash though. Only the BIOS settings.

Its dead. Never was able to recover a 7 beep motherboard, I've only seen this happen a handful of times on the board over the course of several years since the M18x R2 came out.
