    Alienware 18r2 P3000 (gtx1060) is a success

    Didn't find here a thread with a successful installation of this card
    Fits like a glove - I use cooling from my GTX 680m

    My specs are
    i7 3940XM
    32gb of Ram
    P3000m 6144mb

    I planning to buy an RTX quadro 4000 and try to install it.
    My firend told me that its possible - he alreado somehow install 2080(!!!!!!!) in Alienware 18 (Haswell)!!!
    So id like to try to install RTX Quadro 4000 in mine -it should fit too. And TDP only 110 watt

    Btw p3000 reach only 60 degrees in furmark

    My friend - Alienware enthusiast told me that it should fit into MXM chasis with minimum or even no modifications -only cooling system needs to be modified
    So no i only need to collect 850 bucks

    Update - he did not fit RTX 2080 only do some research about this
    He did Quadro 5200 tho.
    Time will tell, maybe ill buy p5200 instead of quadro RTX4000 but second option much cooler

    Here's my luck with a 1070. Go down a few pages to find the best fit, I started with the heat sink for an AW18 instead of an M18xR2.
