    Hi,

I received my 18 a few days, and things are not cool.

Does anyone know what this problem and a possible way to solve?
All drivers are up to date and running smoothly, without any kind of instability.
Unfortunately, this computer has been imported from another country, Dell does not work with this line here (Brazil), then do not offer me support or warranty. :(

ahh now I see, does it happen on both the Intel integrated graphics and the dedicated GPU ? try it out, if the issue on both, then I am no expert in this so I'll leave it up to other forum members to suggest

Yes, it happens with GPUs off board and also with the onbord, but when I connect an external monitor the problem does not happen.

I think the problem is in the video signal cable, not the screen because when I open a window (same as the print screen, for example) and drag it around the screen marks follow the exact point in the window, the defect did not remains in the same place.

After 3h hours talking by phone with virtually all Dell employees seems that I will be able to enforce here the International warranty!

I hope everything goes well. Thanks to all who were willing to help.

Are they going to send the parts to you or will they send a tech?

First I open a call to "regionalize my notebook for Brazil", it will take up to 10 days. This required send the purchase invoice and fee payment certificate. When this regionalization is approved I will be able to open a call with a technician, who will assess the problem and order parts for repair.

    Update of my situation.

After a long wait was finally completed the regionalization of my notebook.

Yesterday I received a visit from a technician, the notebook was all disassembled, but he could not identify the problem. Unfortunately such as Dell does not sell officially Alienware here they do not have the spare parts available.

Today I received an email of Dell, January 19 they will exchange the full screen of my laptop (including housing, ribbon cables, LEDs etc ...).

Now is time to wait... again.
