Does anyone know if the Alienware 18 Viking will boot without discrete video cards installed? or do it need at least 1 mxm card installed?

Title has typo should be dGPU not eGPU.

Can it boot from a quadro card, more specifically a hp k610m? Also without an mxm card does the internal lcd actually display anything.

Without an MXM card, it falls back to the iGPU. It works as a regular laptop, without a dGPU.
