    new card, same vbios same drivers.....anyone know what could be the problem?

    Does the problem persist with the stock vBIOS ?

    i fixed it i think - i un-matched the P0/P1 clocks and put the P1 about 60mhz lower and now it's downclocking to P8 correctly

    While AMD improves card performance, nvidia only does it for a year, then it's to the killing fields with last gen. They did it with Kepler, now they done it with maxwell.

    I couldn't agree more!!! Check out my updates to the AMD drive thread, my 7970s are running better then ever, ridiculous OC, stable, low temps, no throttling, STOCK VBIOS, and low temps. Im having second thoughts about switching over to NVIDIA, going to wait until the new AMD MXM 3.0 card comes out.
