    Hello folks,

Just wondering if you have some recommendation for the currently best drivers for SLI 780m Alienware 18.
Haven`t added any bios or custom upgrades yet. Thank you all.

In terms of Nvidia, they really don't do much to gain performance.

The thing you should go for are modded BIOS and vBios, that is the thing that gives the absolute best performance by a longshot.

As I already said it's not the drivers that matter, it's other things.

Before even trying to get new bios and vbios, you should check if your cooling is sufficient enough. The vBios and Bios mods give the cards more power so operate snappier and better, this results higher temperatures, which can kill your system if the cooling is not sufficient enough.

So before wanting to get more performance i'd suggest you download 3dmark or 3dmark 2011, benchmark your system with MSI afterburner and check your temperatures.

    Thanks @Danishblunt ! I'll try that.
Any tips regarding cooling for AW18? I`ve recently repasted all cores and clean up a little.

Uff, I never modded my Alienware when I had it, there are people here who are way more experienced than me when it comes to fixing those. As far as I heard tho, the older models seem to be rather good at cooling, so I think the worst that you might have to do would be lapping and a BIOS update for fan profiles. Something along the lines like that, but for now doing benchmarks with 3dmark and post them here so we might see if your system performs like it should and a temperature report would help. That way people can also help you regarding overclocking, which is quite effective for your cards, they are quite Overclockable.
