    worried about fan noise

    Is anybody else worried about this? Some reviews said that the fans are very loud and run even when the computer is on idle. If I got the m14x I'd be using it in class, so I don't want something that's going to be very loud. Damn I'm so torn between the m11x R3 and the M14x. :confused:

    Nope, should be fixed with a bios update and fan noise doesn't bother me. Ordered yesterday :D

    hopefully a bios update and the like will calm it down, however, i would recommend the SSD as that aides in less heat.

    What about the extreme high temps on that causing discomfort and keyboard issue that was on the review? I don't think a bios update can fix that

    If AW use the same generic thermal chunks found on all other Dell laptops, a simple repaste would drop the temp by a good amount.
