I just downloaded and upgraded to Windows 8 on my new Alienware M14x R2, and I did a reformat of the hard drive (I lost all my data). I am trying to get killer wireless 1202-N to work. Where could I locate these drivers so that I can have internet with my new windows 8 Laptop! The resources DVD that came with the computer those drivers are not compatible.

Killer lists only Win 7 drivers on their website. You could try the latest version available, but until they officially release Win 8 drivers there's no guarantees.

Wow so there's no way I'll have internet until killer wireless releases there drivers which who's knows when that will be? Is there any workaround? I guess I need to wipe my hard drive and install windows 7 again... joy...

Well, according to their forums they released Win 8 drivers on the 26th. But I've been unable to find them so far.

go to the official dell drivers page and enter your service tag. then change the OS to "Windows 8 64 bit". the killer drivers are on there.

If you go into device manager and update driver, it does work with windows 7 drivers. You just have to point to the extracted folder. (You don't get the fancy software though.)

Hello, we have all the drivers up and running for Windows 8 on the M14x r2, here's the link to the driver site:

Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

Under "Operating System", make sure you change it to Windows 8 64-bit.

I have downloaded and installed/updated all the drivers from the dell page for Windows 8; I also downloaded the newest Nvida and Intel graphics 4000 drivers. Sporadically I receive the dreaded BSOD with the following error: Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal (ndis.sys). Does anyone know how I should begin to diagnose this problem? The interesting thing is is the BSOD's occur pretty randomly (not doing a specific task at a specific time) I have used my computer for days and it hasn't happened, and I have also used it for 2 minutes then it has happened. Thanks!

I had this IRQ problem when I installed win 8 a month ago (I upgraded from 7) they did mysteriously disappear after a few days and I have no idea why... After the bios a09 update I haven't gotten any BSODs.

Which driver/update is that? Ugh I continue to get them... I did a clean install of windows 8. I'm not sure what else to do they are happening quite frequently.

They seem to happen when I wake my computer from sleep mode when I log back on it crashes! So annoying!

Now they are just happening all the time... can't even use it without crashing

Bios A09 causes windows 7 to not boot up for me. I am running an ssd as the primary drive and have a 500gb hard drive but they're not in RAID. I had to go back to A08
