I think the reason no one discuss about that is because you looking at the wrong forum. iTune or Winamp? For me I prefer Winamp will give you more control (or complex with more options) with the AlienFX visualization while iTune will only give you simple control with the AlienFX Visualization, either of them is better, because with the iTune you'll have less control but it will "just work", while the the Winamp, you'll need some tweak before you can get it work.

Here is the path (if you have your Windows & iTune install on the C drive) to add the AlienFX Visualization for iTune:

Go to " C:\Program Files\Alienware\Command Center\Media Plugin\iTunes ", copy the "WiTunesAlienFXPlugin.dll" file then paste it over to " C:\Users\7Pro\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes Plug-ins ". The next time you start iTune, under the visualization you'll see the AlienFX option where it allow you to configure the AlienFX.

For Winamp, follow the link to Ingrater's AlienFX Pidgin + Winamp plugin, now go to the link he has provide in that post, then download the plugin, but DO NOT use the Device.xml that include with the file because it will not work on the M14x, instead go to this post of mine where I've made the device.xml for the M14x, in that page, you'll see tons more of informations on other laptop regarding the device.xml as well.

For the Alien head, according to Ingrater, it is control by the laptop's Battery, so there is nothing you can do about it much, even with the Winamp plugin.

    Hope this help.

and i also tried that for winamp and i did paste all the files in folder as specified on the post but its still not working for me like ... when i go to winamp and select plugin ... alienware option is not there .. and i did download and paste the new file that u uploaded and delete the old alien vs config one .. :( and thanx for the reply :)

What do you mean by "having something awesome on the screen"? For Winamp, what exactly did you do? You dont want to delete the config file though as it is for configuring the blinking of the light detect using the music frequency, however I'm wrong in one thing, which is, you only have to use to Device.xml and paste it into the Winamp Plugin directory (mine is " C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Winamp\Plugins ", and follow the Read Me file in that Rar file. More info/question should be ask in the thread I link you in my post above, since it is the right thread and for those who need help.
