    will a laptop cooler help while gaming the m14x?

    just wanted some opinions before i place an order. the only thing putting me off is the fan and heat issue while gaming.

    well it seems to help with mine..... not needed tho. i purchased mine so it can have a proper prop up.

    I dont think it helps a ton, but mine has the fans placed right under my m14x fans, so I am sure it helps a bit but not a whole lot

    are the fans loud when they kick in?
    i can understand them kicking in as it is a powerful peice of tech but its the only thing im being put off from buying...
    was gonna buy a cooler just to try and help

    well the fans... they are loud and can be compared to a blowdryer...... but i dont care i have g930 headset and cant really hear them.

    A user, I don't remember who, said that with the Cooler Master U2 the fans of the M14x are almost the time silent, and it lower the temps by about 12°C for a long use at load.

    It really doesn't sound like a blow dryer. At least mine doesn't.

    I use a Tt massive 23 LX and it seems to cool it really well.

    the fans on the cooler are silent, and the fans on the m14x aren't bad AT ALL for daily use, gaming they kick in and are a tad loud, but not terrible, certainly shouldnt prevent you from buying the laptop
