The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Why do you create another thread? IIRC You already have a thread created with same question: What time can i choose the 3rd CPU, if you want to get more attention, wait 24hrs before bump the post read forum rules for more info, and just in case you dont get it, the reason the Ivy Bridge or the i7 3000QM series not yet release is that, it hasnt been officially release commercially. If you cant wait, then get the current R2, since you can just upgrade it by yourself later when the Ivy Bridge is commercially release.
