    still trying to find the white clip that holds the dvd ribbon onto the mother board :( :( if anyone knows where to get one or what they are called plz let me know i just tried puttng the ribbon in without it and it doesnt stay in :(

    Use a folded piece of paper. I did that once and it worked, get a decent thickness and a good V shape to the fold.

    If you can find a spot to order them, I'd order 10 right now "just in case"

    been trying to find them for aaages doesnt help when you don't know what there actually called lol

    was thinking of putting something in there but wasnt sure how hot that area got etc

    that was a horrible clip design. I broke one side off of it on my r1 and my r2 and a dell tech broke the one in the 1st r2 I got that got sent back after the tech killed it. they still stay in snugly with 1 side or the other broke. if you lost the clip anything to fill the gap would do it doesn't get hot. let us know if you find em because you can put me down for 10 too.
