    Hi everyone,

I've just upgraded my M14x RAM from the stock 4GB to HyperX 8GB RAM from Newegg. I know this is a fairly common upgrade around here; I'm wondering where you guys ended up selling your stock RAM afterward, and for how much? Or if you didn't sell it, what did you do with it?

Alot of people keep it actually because if a Dell technician has to be sent out or you need to send in your computer I think it needs the ram they give you in it

I agree with gearsguy. Additionally, new RAM sells for dirt cheap, used RAM will go for even less. It would be better to keep the RAM on hand as spare parts...

you can try your local craigslist, fleabay or check the NBR MarketPlace.

If you do decide to list it in the NBR MarketPlace, please reference the stickies in that section on proper post format of the listing.

    or, just keep it ;)

I would certainly hold onto it, I reckon resale value would be very low, when it became time to sell on the machine you would have the ability to return it to stock and sell on your premium modules thus achieving the best return.
